Customize Messages - Confirmation and Reminder Emails

By default, we send out “transactional” emails from our system… these emails include confirmation emails, reminder emails and review request emails. In this page we will show you how to edit these different emails in different ways.

Instructions

There are several ways to “customize” your email messages… we will walk you through the details below:

1. Add General Text to all messages…
   1. Go to 'Settings', 'Booking Options',
   2. Scroll down to 'Custom message' field.
   3. You can add text in here that will be included in all confirmation and reminder emails sent to the customer as well as the calendar attachment that they save to their personal calendar.
2. Add a Description in the Appointment Type.
   1. Go to 'Settings', 'Appointment Types'
   2. Click next to the appointment type you want to edit.
   3. Add text to the description area.
   4. This text will be added to reminder emails, confirmation emails and calendar events saved on customers calendar.
3. Add Location
   1. Go to 'Settings', 'Appointment Types'
   2. Click next to the appointment type you want to edit.
   3. Add text to the Location area. You can add an address, link, directions…
   4. This text will be added to reminder emails, confirmation emails and calendar events saves on customers calendar.
4. Add Review Email message in review email request.
   1. Here you can add a custom message, and include a specific link to your own review site. This is only available for Pro+ accounts.
   2. Go to 'Settings', 'Booking Options',
   3. Scroll down to 'Custom review message' field.
   4. Add your review message… i.e. Thank you for your recent visit, we would love to get your feedback on yelp. "Below is a link if you are willing to share your experience”
   5. Then add the link in the following field labeled Custom Review Link
5. Custom Text reminders
   1. We automatically send text reminders that include the following text.
   2. “Your appointment with is in .
      1. That's it. Very Simple. Good response.
   3. Now, you can add to that message up to 150 additional characters.
   4. Go to 'Settings', 'Booking Options',
   5. Scroll down to SMS Text Reminder field.
